Round 3 : Witbank GP (21 & 22 November 2009)
Location - Emalahleni F1 Powerboat Grand Prix, Witbank Dam, Witbank, Mpumalanga.
Qualifying Position = 1st
After Blowing an engine in the practice sessions leading upto qualifying, the Team had nothing to worry about during the session as Tim destroyed the times set by any of the other drivers.
Race One, Position = 1st
After a bit of a slow start, Tim quickly pulled back his lead heading upto the first turn bouy. As he came around the bouy he was already at least 20m infront of Elzane de Jager.
A faultless performance meant Tim was able to win the race with a huge margin over the next driver.
Race Two, Position = 1st
Tim started race two with great confidence knowing that he had the pace to keep infront and win without having to put any pressure on himself. Even though Tim was easing the revs during the race, he was still able to lap the entire field except for the 2nd and 3rd place drivers.
Overall, Position = 1st
A shortened race weekend meant that only Two heats were run and Tim came away on top of the podium, and also on top in the championship. with 55 points.
