Ahmed Al Hamli wins in Doha!

After a superb performance in qualifying on Friday, Ahmed Al Hamli was able to pull off a clean sweep by winning the first round of the 2012 F1H2O World Championship in Doha, Qatar.

Phillipe Chiappe took a fantastic 2nd place overall showing the rest of the field that the Moore Boat is very capable of fighting for wins in 2012. Franscesco Contando fought bravely through the field to take 5th place after not competing in Qualifying the previous day. Al Hamli's team Thani Al Qamzi did not have the same fortune of his team mate and bowed out of the race with mechanical gremlins.
